ok, I’d:
a) raise an eyebrow, Cersei-style
b) sigh because i know this would make you very happy, but let’s face it, it could never be proper canon :P
c) write it off as another of moffat’s throwaway lines that he will probably never return to
d) if moffat casts alan as the new companion, I would politely leave the watching of doctor who to you and wait for a new showrunner, because that would be a STEP TOO FAR ;) and I’m sure your Mum would agree.

Okayso. I’ve been working on this for the last five hours, and I have reached the point where I have lost the ability to have any perspective on it at all. I’m just going to post it and see what you guys think.
ms-notebook gave me a drabble (ha ha) prompt that read “Nine and Rose. Intergalactic penpals. Romance ensues.”
This is what happened when I sat down to write that story. Unfortunately, the only letter writing Nine does is not to Rose, but it kind of counts?
